Terra (LUNA) is a blockchain protocol that aims to create a price-stable cryptocurrency, called Terra, which is pegged to the value of a basket of fiat currencies. The project was founded by Daniel Shin and Do Kwon in 2018. Terra’s main focus is on building a decentralized stablecoin ecosystem that can be used for payments, DeFi applications, and other use cases.
