BNB, or Binance Coin, is the native cryptocurrency of the Binance exchange, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. It was launched through an initial coin offering (ICO) in 2017 and is used primarily for trading fee discounts on the Binance platform and participating in token sales on Binance Launchpad.
